How to use your minima[liste] dry brush?

During the first uses, our minima[liste]  dry brush can be a bit hard, so make very gentle gestures. To soften the brush, clean it before first use with mild soap and warm water, then allow it to dry well. The hairs will become softer as you use them. It is important not to use the brush on the same day as your minima[liste] body scrub.

On dry skin, make gentle but dynamic upward movements towards the lymph nodes, following the illustration below. Start by brushing your feet and gradually climb up the thighs. Brush your hands and arms always towards the heart, then move to the stomach and chest/torso with softer gestures, these areas being more sensitive. To finish, take a cool shower to stimulate blood circulation even more and apply your minima[liste] body moisturizing balm.

Brushing must be dynamic to be effective, but not painful. When first used, the skin may blush a little, but still without pain.

The best time to dry brush is in the morning on an empty stomach to energize your body, but you can also do it in the evening to relax, the important thing being to always shower afterwards and not do it more than once a day.

Maintenance of your minima[liste] dry brush :

Wash your brush with water and mild soap before first use.  Then, depending on your use, wash and dry it thoroughly.

Ask your doctor for advice if you are pregnant, have hyperthyroidism, varicose veins or a serious circulatory problem. Dry brushing is not recommended for recent scars or damaged, irritated, sensitive or diseased skin (eczema, psoriasis, acne, etc.).

Give your skin a revitalizing and invigorating experience with our Minimal[iste] dry brush, crafted from natural wood and vegan sisal fibers. This ancient beauty ritual offers multiple benefits, including gentle exfoliation, improved circulation, and enhanced skin radiance—all in a simple and sustainable way.

Why Integrate Dry Brushing Into Your Routine?

  • Deep Yet Gentle Exfoliation – The natural sisal bristles remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin softer, smoother, and visibly more luminous.
  • Stimulates Blood and Lymphatic Circulation – Unlike blood, which is pumped by the heart, lymph depends on muscle movement and breathing to circulate. By stimulating lymphatic drainage, dry brushing helps eliminate toxins, reduce fluid retention, and support immune function.
  • Tones and Firms the Skin – Regular use can help tighten the skin, enhance elasticity, and improve skin texture, making it an excellent ally against cellulite.
  • Boosts Energy and Well-being – The brushing action awakens the senses and revitalizes the body, making it a perfect ritual to start the day feeling refreshed and energized.
  • A Natural and Vegan Beauty Tool – Made with eco-friendly wood and plant-based sisal fibers, our Minimal[iste] dry brush is entirely vegan and sustainable, ensuring a guilt-free self-care experience.

How to Use Your Minimal[iste] Dry Brush?

  • Start with gentle strokes – The bristles may feel slightly firm at first, so use light, upward movements, especially on sensitive areas.
  • Use on dry skin – Before showering, brush your body using long, sweeping motions towards the heart, following the natural flow of lymphatic circulation.
  • Adapt the pressure – Begin with soft strokes and gradually increase intensity as your skin becomes accustomed to the practice.
  • Focus on key areas – Pay special attention to legs, arms, stomach, and back to maximize circulation and detoxification benefits.
  • Follow with hydration – After showering, apply a nourishing oil or moisturizer to lock in hydration and enhance your skin’s glow.

A little harder than I thought, but let's give the body time to get used to it. (Translated review)
