At minima[liste], we create short, simple and effective formulas. We honour everything nature has to offer by making skin care products that are 100% natural and friendly to skin and environment. All of our products are formulated without water, organically certified and made in France. The era of endless and obscure formulations is over and so are ingredients that provide no benefits for the skin. We prefer quality over quantity for our 100% active products. Our skin care products are simple, effective and sensory-based!
Our minimaliste Philosophy
Our skin care products are formulated without water. Why? Simply because we want to preserve this scarce resource. Water is essential for life but not for our skin. Contrary to popular belief, the water in our cosmetics holds no benefits. Since our formulations do not contain water, we do not have to use preservatives and we can strip the list of ingredients down to what we truly need.
Effectiveness is what we’re all about at minima[liste]! Our cosmetics penetrate the skin’s hydrolipidic film perfectly thanks to their water-free formulation. Our balms and oils have a high concentration of active ingredients and lipophilic molecules that instantly nourish and deeply hydrate the skin.
We pick each of our ingredients to give you quality skin care products. All of our cosmetics are organic and made in France in a laboratory in the hinterland of Nice. By making this choice, our formulas are free of any petrochemicals, and they preserve the environment. The bottom line is we believe that “less is better”! We want the best to give your skin everything it needs.

Simple: The role of each ingredient is explained on our products, a short and clear list. You will find our makeup remover oil with 4 ingredients, our body balm with only 5 ingredients and our eye contour treatment with 7 ingredients. And many more!
Efficient: We choose each of our ingredients in order to keep only the best. We favour bio sourced, raw and organic ingredients. Our formulas are packed with vitamins and fatty acids essential for the skin. Each ingredient is chosen to have a real impact on the skin.
Sensorial: Nature gives us amazing scents that we put forward. You will find 100% natural perfumes as well as essential oils in some of our products.

Vegetable Oils
You will find them in all our formulas! Vegetable oils are our favourite ingredients. Why? There are many different vegetable oils, each with important properties for our skin. Our oils have protective, softening, restorative, healing, regulating, nourishing and many other properties...

Essential Oils
Essential oils are known for their benefits to the skin. Like vegetable oils, they have multiple properties. For example, ginger essential oil is known for its tonic properties and helichrysum essential oil is decongestant and promotes microcirculation.

Vegetable Butters
Vegetable butters are 100% natural and rich in essential fatty acids for our skin. They are highly concentrated in vitamins and in phytosterols. Vegetable butters are known for their regenerating, softening and repairing properties! They restore the skin’s hydrolipidic barrier in a flash. You will find in our care murumuru butter with nourishing properties, protecting the hydrolipidic barrier of the skin, as well as shea butter known to maintain the hydration of the skin.

Vegetable Waxes
Vegetable waxes are a vegan alternative to beeswax. The advantage is that they are 100% natural. They are generally used in the production of balms. Moreover, they are known for their film-forming effect, instantly protecting the skin from dehydration and external aggression. We use sunflower wax or carnauba flax.

Vitamin E
Packed full of vitamin E, tocopherol is isolated from plant-based oils. It is a powerful antioxidant that helps prevent oxidation and the rancidity of fatty acids. It is also very potent to protect the skin from free radicals.

Emulsifying Agent
In some of our products, we use polyglyceryl-4-oleate. This is a 100% natural emulsifying agent that improves the texture and adds shine to our products. It has humectant properties that help to maintain and enhance skin hydration.

Ingredients that we do not use in our formulas:
Concerned about the environment and wanting to avoid all substances potentially harmful to humans, we have chosen to ban some components from our waterless formulations.
With minima[liste], we offer products that match your skin’s needs while keeping your values and purpose in mind: consume less, but better.
Preservatives
Chemical preservatives are used to prevent the growth of bacteria in cosmetics containing water. Parabens are often singled out for being suspected of causing endocrine and reproductive system disruption. There are two categories of parabens: short-chain parabens (ethyl and methylparaben) and long-chain parabens (isobutyl, isopropyl, benzyl, pentyl, phenyl paraben) which are the most harmful to humans.
Artificial colourings
We do not add any artificial colourings to our formulas. Some artificial colourings can be allergenic, irritating or potentially carcinogenic. Also artificial colourings are frequently used in cosmetics and are not very biodegradable. Moreover, they do not provide any benefit to the skin.
Synthetic fragrance
We do not add any synthetic fragrances to our products. Behind those good smells are usually synthetic substances that have no benefit for the skin. To make our skin care products sensory, we opt for 100% natural fragrances or use essential oils.
PEG
We ban PEGs from our formulations. Very often in the INCI lists you will find these 3 letters: PEG followed by numbers. PEGs are potentially carcinogenic petroleum derivatives. They can be irritating to the skin and cause considerable environmental pollution. To avoid products containing PEGs, choose products with an organic label.
Sulphates
Sulphates are derived from petrochemicals. They can be aggressive, allergenic and irritating to the skin depending on the amount in the product and how often it is used. Sulphates are known for their foaming effects, but they are neither good for the skin nor good for the environment.
Silicones
Silicones do not benefit the skin. They only act on the texture of the product, giving a soft texture and a non-greasy finish to the products. Furthermore, silicones are not biodegradable and pose a real problem for the environment.
