What’s upcycling? Let’s see a simple definition. The process of taking an object and giving it a second life that is more valuable than what it previously was.

Let’s all revisit our childhood for a minute, shall we? Some of us in France can look back with nostalgia at our Ninja Turtles mustard glasses. We used them for 2 months—the time it took us to eat all that mustard—and then for another 10 years to drink water every day!

These are prime examples of upcycling.

What If We Changed Our Habits?

If you are still unaware of environmental issues, please know that over 500 billion plastic bottles are manufactured every year in the world. Only 10% of these bottles are recycled.

So, where do the remaining 450 billion plastic bottles and tubes go? It really does send shivers down your spine.

Our Packaging Choices

At minimaliste, we tried to change our habits by choosing glass bottles with removable labels. Secondary packaging is made of cardboard and contains notes that you should keep somewhere. You will also find the Sun Salutation to perform every day. This is a great yoga exercise that will energize you for the entire day.

Whether they’re turned into bud vases, succulent pots, jewellery boxes, screw boxes, candle containers, etc. There is no limit to your creativity!

With this new concept, we will reduce our carbon footprint, waste, wastage and water pollution, with the purpose of consuming better.
